Débora Peres Menezes is elected president of the Brazilian Physics Society

Our Editor in Nuclear Physics Prof. Débora Peres Menezes from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina has been elected President of the Brazilian Physics Society (SBF) This is the first time a woman is elected as president of the largest physics society of Brazil, see UFSC news. From Papers in Physics we want to warmly congratulate Prof. Peres Menezes and we look forward to a great chance to strengthen relations between our journal and the brazilian physics community.
