Mainly, this total solar eclipse provided the perfect opportunity to update statistics and do research on experiences taking place specifically in South America and during spring or summer performing truly cross-disciplinary research.
With this Focus Series on Patagonian Solar Eclipse 2020, we seek original research articles that cover the broad range of events related to the December 2020 total solar eclipse, from the Earth’s surface through the Earth's upper atmosphere and the solar atmosphere.
